RI2C History

The 4th Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress (RI2C 2023) was held on August 24-25, 2023 via a Virtual conference. The RI2C 2023 was technical supported by IEEE Thailand Section, IEEE Education Society Thailand Chapter, and Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association (ECTI). Under the theme of the conference "Innovation for Better Life", this conference featured a rich program, including a keynote speech delivered by Prof.Dr. Piya Kovintavewat from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, THAILAND, Prof.Dr. Gui Yun Tian from Newcastle University, UK, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Eugene Kowch from University of Calgary, CANADA, and Dr. Siwarutt Boonyarattanakalin from SMS Corporation, THAILAND. Also, the RI2C 2023 offered an opportunity to bring together professors, researchers and students around the globe, and served as a platform to deliver innovative research results and latest trends and development in the fields of sciences and engineering. The conference received over 140 submitted papers. These papers on various topics were divided into 4 parallel sessions in the conference. All accepted and presented papers in this conference were published in Proceedings which indexed by Scopus, including E3S Web of Conferences (Proceedings) for Innovative Sustainable Science category, IEEE Xplore (Proceedings) for Innovative Electricals and Electronics category, Key Engineering Materials and Materials Science Forum for Innovative Materials Engineering category.

RI2C 2022

The 2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress
4 – 5 August 2022, Bangkok, Thailand (Virtual Conference)

The 2022 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress was held for the third time on August 4-5, 2022 via a Virtual conference, and aimed to provide a forum for the knowledge exchange regarding the development of research for the novel invention and innovation under the theme of “Passion for the Future”. The RI2C 2022 was technical supported by IEEE Thailand Section, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Thailand Chapter, and Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association (ECTI). There were three main sessions; the Innovative Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Sustainable Science. About 140 contributions published in the proceedings indexed in Scopus, such as Materials Today: Proceedings, IEEE Xplore and E3S Web of Conference.
The invited speakers from all around the world gave a great honor to share their experiences with us, including Prof.Dr.-Ing. Edmund Haberstroh from RWTH Aachen University, Prof.Dr. Sakdirat Kaewunruen from the University of Birmingham, Prof.Dr. Surin Khomfoi from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Dr. Sadayuki Sato, a world industrial expert from Yaskawa Electrics (THAILAND) who is a partner in the KMUTNB reinventing program.

Also, the RI2C 2022 had been supported from big sponsors, such as IEEE Thailand Section, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Thailand Chapter, and Electrical Engineering Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association. This was an extensive network of educational and research institutions. Such academic Conference was major step forward in promoting and enhancing cooperation in Education and Development between KMUTNB and many visiting academics from overseas.

RI2C 2021

The 2021 Research, Invention, and Innovation Congress
1 – 2 September 2021, Bangkok, Thailand (Virtual Conference)

The 2021 Research, Invention and Innovation Conference was held for the second time, on September 1-2, 2021 via a Virtual conference. The RI2C 2021 was technical supported by IEEE Thailand Section, and Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Association (ECTI). There were three main sessions with about 150 presented works, including the session of Innovative Materials Engineering (iME), Innovative Electricals and Electronics (iEE), and Innovative Sustainable Sciences (iSS). In this year, it was a great honor to have the keynote speakers from Professor Yang Zhigang from Tsinghua University, Professor San Hoa Thang from Monash University, Professor Yuttana Kumsuwan from Chiang Mai University, and especially we had a special talk from Dr.Wilaiporn Chetanachan from SCG who is the innovation business guru of Thailand.
